About this policy
This policy covers Fantasy Kitchen’s website. It says what the site collects, why, who else sees it, what is stored on your device, and how to change your mind. Short version: we collect only what is needed to cook your order or answer your question, it goes to our own kitchen inbox, and it is never sold or handed to anyone for advertising.
What the forms ask for
- Getting in touch: your name, and an email or phone number, plus whatever you write in the message.
- Catering: name, email, phone, event date and number of guests, plus any dietary needs you tell us.
- School partnership: school name, your name and role, email, and roughly how many students.
- A school lunch order: the school, the phone number to reach you on, the meals picked, and the details the school needs to hand the right meal to the right pupil — including any allergy note, which is the only reason we ask for it.
- Newsletter: your email address, nothing else.
Nothing else is required to browse the site: reading the menu, the hours or the blog asks nothing of you.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Some sites also use local storage, which works the same way but is never sent back to the server. Here is everything this site uses, in full.

Managing your preferences
You can change your choice at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
Your browser can also block or clear cookies for this site — the setting lives under Privacy in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari alike. Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site at once.
Who else is involved
A form sends its contents to our kitchen inbox as an email, and the order is written to our own database so that a lost email never means a lost order. Payment is handled by our ordering system, not by this site — we never see your card. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we know what to fix. Until you agree it sets no cookies: it records that a page was opened, with no way to recognise you again. Agree, and it sets cookies so returning visits can be told apart. Either way it is sent the pages you open, your approximate location from your IP address, and the kind of device you use — and never your name, your phone number, or anything you type into a form. If you would rather not be counted at all, your browser's “do not track” setting and most ad blockers stop it, and from Quebec it never runs. The fonts are served from this site, not from an outside font service. On the four pages with a form — catering, contact, school partnership and school lunch orders — the anti-robot check is Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives your IP address, as any server you connect to does. The photos guests attached to their Google reviews are shown straight from Google's own servers, so opening the home page asks Google for them too. Page views are also counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which runs for everyone because it stores nothing in your browser — no cookie, no identifier, nothing that could recognise you on a second visit. It counts the page, the country, and the kind of device, and that is all; there is no profile to build and nothing to ask you about. An ad blocker stops it as well. None of these is given your name, your order, or anything you type.
If you are in Quebec
We do not count visits from Quebec at all. You will not be shown the cookie banner and no analytics runs for you, so there is nothing to agree to and nothing to withdraw. Forms still work: what you type in one is used to answer you, exactly as described above.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in the kitchen inbox as long as they are useful for answering you. Lunch orders are kept for the school year they belong to, because the kitchen has to be able to check what was ordered and paid for. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it or change it.
Asking us to delete it
Call (416) 530-4352 or write to us from the contact page and ask. We will delete what we hold and tell you when it is done. You can ask what we hold at any time, and there is no charge for asking.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not change it quietly: the date is there so you can tell.
